Inside the experiment
A connected tetrahedral volume carries gravity, inertia, elastic edge constraints and volume preservation. XPBD solves at 120 fixed steps per simulated second, with bounded substeps and inversion protection.
The sculpted surface is bound to that volume with tetrahedral barycentric weights. Every fur root and whisker follows it. Eye frames follow the head while the eyeballs retain their shape. Pigmentation lives in rest coordinates, so stripes stay put.
Firmness controls elastic compliance. Internal damping dissipates relative motion. Cheeks, chest and belly yield more; eye and nose support yield less. The wire view shows the actual internal tetrahedral edges.
Mass, volume and kinetic energy come from the simulation. Units are nominal and uncalibrated. This is a stylized virtual soft-body character, not a biological model.
